The extended roof brace is used to help support the chimney where it extends more than 5 feet above the roof. Legs adjust from 65-130 inches and pivot at the ring and brackets to fit any roof pitch.
An extended roof brace or other support must be used for every 5 feet of chimney above the roof (if your chimney extends 12 feet above your roof you need 2 roof support braces).
The Extended Roof Brace does not support the weight of the chimney. It supports the lateral movement only.
Note: The collar of the extended roof brace is made from stainless steel while the legs and feet are made from galvanized steel.

Great product! Recently installed on my outdoor boiler and it keeps it nice and steady. I purchased 7 feet of piping as well and it’s not going anywhere. Braces are very adjustable and can be fastened with bolts or nails to fit any need. 10/10 will be recommending to others in my area!
