The roof support bracket is used for A-frame and cathedral ceiling homes where a Ceiling Support Box is not desired or required.
The roof support mounts to the framing and can support a total of 45 feet of chimney with a maximum of 20 feet below the support.
An Extended Roof Brace (sold separately) is often used in conjunction with a Roof Support to provide lateral stability above the roof.

Was very easy to attach and proved to be very strong, actually very useful as a tool to support sections of the pipe temporarily during the installation process. Used as a support being positioned at a premeasured point to construct the 5 ea 48" sections up through the chimney chase then installed the pipe from the base wall support in the basement up to that point then removed it and then reinstalled it where it was intended for. Don't think I could have done it without it.
Very sturdy. My only criticism is that the bolts for the swivel and pivot were too long and prevented the boot from sitting flat on the roof. Could have been 1/4” shorter.
Well designed and very well built. Sturdy. Added needed support as pipe is somewhat heavy vs single wall. Easy to install.
